Tax Credit Extended AND Expanded!

The first time home buyer real estate tax credit has been extended and expanded to include move-up buyers - those buyer who have been in their homes as their primary residents for at least the last five years. 

First time home buyers will still receive up to $8,000 in tax credit (or 10% whichever is less) as long as they close by APRIL 30, 2010. Move-up buyers qualify up to $6500 (or 10% whichever is less) as long as they close by the same date.
