The interdisciplinary art project SANDSTORM-And Then There Was DUST is a project to find creative solutions to the challenge of sandstorms. The project examines the origins and consequences of sandstorms in the former Mesopotamia region and its offshoots (Iran, Iraq, Turkey) with a mixture of artistic and scientific means and thus aims at reaching and sensitizing the civilian population.
